Sometimes it IS all about me....

When You’re Not Sure What to Focus On, Focus on Yourself
There are stretches in life when nothing feels clear. Big questions like What am I doing? Where should I be headed? and the answers just don’t come. It all feels heavy. It’s easy to feel stuck when the road ahead looks blurry.
That’s when it helps to turn your attention inward. If you don’t know what to focus on out there, focus on what’s right in front of you. You!
Take Care of Your Body
Start simple. Go for a run. Take some Gym time. Take a walk around the block. Movement shakes something loose in your head, and even a few minutes can shift your whole mood.
Eat food that gives you energy instead of draining it. Cook for yourself when you can. Taking care of your body is one thing you can control, and it builds the foundation for whatever comes next.
Reach Out to Your People
When life feels uncertain, spend time with people who make you feel grounded. Call a friend, meet someone for coffee, share a meal. The conversations don’t need to be deep or serious. Just being with people who remind you of who you are can make things lighter.
Handle the Small Stuff
Clean up your space. Get a full night of sleep. Write a few lines in a notebook. Wash your face, take care of your skin. These small acts don’t seem important, but together they add up to balance. They put you in a better place to face the bigger questions.
Balance First, Focus Later
Clarity will come. It always does. But in the meantime, focus on yourself. Take care of your body, your mind, and your relationships. Build balance now, so when direction finally shows up, you’ll be ready for it. You can only be available to take advantage of opportunities when you’re mentally, physically, and emotionally ready for them.
